As we all know the final rounds of the season have now finished.
BUT do you know how good all out teams performed this year?
From what I have seen all teams had their ups and downs but , all teams have done us proud. It gives me a great amount of pride and bragging rights ( although I have had nothing to do with performance ) to talk to everyone I know telling them how well we have done.
Look at the IHNSW site, check out your team's results and the results of all the SAINTS. If there was a club championship, we would have won it or should have. All teams have probably had their best year yet, even our worst result being better than before with 2010 looking even better.
I havent done all the final calculations as yet, and just like a little kid, I was too impatient to wait for the results to be updated, but its easy to see some.
Congratulations, to all
Tiatans, in second place with a huge team roster change surely upsetting their rhythm
Cardinals, minor premiers, with nearly a perfect record all season.
Arch Angels just outside the semis in 5th place
Womens a great start to the year, then a couple of girls left & a few more just had, momentary lapses in concentration shall we say that cost them some tight games finished just outside the semis in 5th
Midgets, although finishing well down the ladder in 7th, they were unlucky in a few, and silly in a few, when decisions didnt go their way. A good result though, considering the pressures this age group has, with their HSC year.
Bantams, in second place, with only one team they havent beaten yet, but they are saving that for the final.
Peewees, in fourth place, after a poor start to the year they are now the competition favourites having beaten every team keep up the good work.
Atoms, who said they are only Atoms they still shoot to score and play to win Finishing in 3rd overall, the Atoms have had a great season with excellent results in all tournaments that they have attended, with the last one in Canberra where they were given the Maple Leaf Cup and being awarded as the team of the tournament.
A great year all up with the promise of some more to come with 5 teams in the finals.
Support your club, have a look at what games are where and get to at least the ones at home, and come along and cheer for The SAINTS
GO SAINTS GO CONGRATS TO ALL
