Another busy week of hockey travelling to Newcastle, Penrith, Canterbury, and, nice to be at Livo, for a couple as well to finish the weekend

Saturday saw The Bantams v their archrivals Blacktown, at S.I.A., just the mere mention of that word seems to scare two goals out of our boys and they go on the ice shaking in their skates. Again this was the case although worse this time, as our boys panicked and played some foreign style of hockey which nobody new anything about, and therefore handed the game to The Flyers like a typical saturday night dinner,  BURNED AND ROASTED as they dropped their budle and went down 0/5.Some players had a good game and never gave up, Tyler and Adrian being the only standouts amid a frustrated SAINTS side. Once again the refs got under our skin and a couple of us ( including the bench ) reacted poorly, and that went against us as well.NO USE ARGUING AND ABUSING THE REFS EVER

Sunday morning saw our Atoms slow to wake up and gave Blacktown an early start, if not for Ellesse, Bayley and Matthew that would have been that, but these 3 never gave up and played some great team hockey to snatch victory 7/4 with our smaller and younger players proving they earn their spots, in the line on the ice, well done boys, congratulations Andy and Annette.

Next home to Liverpool against a revamped Central Coast Rhinos side, with NO SCOREBOARD ( I know AGAIN ) Was probably just as well because our Peewees never looked like needing the scoreboard, as we played badminton or some other strange game on frozen water, not quite sure what it was , but it wasnt hockey. Then Jack decided he had enough and scored a brilliant goal to at least put us on the board. Jordan forgot what what team he was on and nearly added to their score as well,  our defence left our goalie high and dry and  also,  by himself, as 2 of them warmed the bench. Then with only 3 players on the ice, there must have been  some sort of a mix up as the wrong line was on, costing us again. Peewees cant seem to perform without the help of the Atoms, lets hope we dont have too many more clashes, as we obviously need the Atoms, every game. More training Peewees, one night a week is obviously not enough. Congratulations to Jack, Casey and Dieter who never gave up.

Bantams again, this time at home, against Canberra. Always a tough game as 2 v 3 on the ladder. Once again some ref decisions rattled our boys, forcing some to make some stupid decisions, which we all suffered for in the end. Bantams lifted and sent Canberra packing with a win to the SAINTS 4/2 a much better result for us, on and off the ice with most if not all players shining.

Next The Ice Dogs decide to tackle the ALL Stars but after an action packed game, Newcastle leave in the bus ,with the points, after a 4/6 loss for The Dogs. Looks like Suicides and sit ups, on the menu for training next week boys.

The Titans next, thanking the Dogs for their efforts in warming the crowd up, for the main event, as they put on a no nonsense ( well nearly ) display of hockey and send Norwest home again with their crowns under their arms as the Titans hand them yet another defeat and banish The Emperors back to their ruins looking for their Caesar and something left in tact. For the most part ,the Titans were in control, save a brain snap by one, after a disagreement with the ref, again leaving the ref the winner. Heads up high for our boys though as they can savour that taste all the better with a 6/1 win under their belt.

All players are reminded that they must wear FULL SAINTS UNIFORM from their jerseys to their current socks , not last years or a combination of whatever. Repeat offenders strike 3 and you will be suspended for a game or untill you get the right gear, which ever comes first . BE WARNED.

Apart from that RELAX  STRESS LESS  AND ENJOY YOUR TIME ON THE ICE
