Our drive north to Newcastle was quicker than the return trip. Usually happens after a 9 -1 defeat. The boys couldnt get organised, and our girls couldnt help get them out. A couple of quick goals against us saw all their heads drop, and they didnt lift again.Infighting and bickering, and playing the blame game, didnt help the situation. The same lines trudged out with no faith in their own ability. The game dragged on and we finally got a goal, but that didnt improve anything. Everyone should be at training next week with attendance to extra training mandatory. Some players are putting in 3 training sessions whereas others make a feeble attempt at one . Time to lift Peewees.

Sunday started early 530 up and go ( especially with Newcastle the night before not home till 11pm ) with the Atoms at Norwest at 7, lucky a win at this time of the morning  puts a smile on everyones faces with a great effort against The Centurians racing away with a 10 to 1 win, with just about everyone scoring including San, in a great match. Well done boys and congratulations Andy on a job well done, with a lucky excuse  saving the coach a few hundred dollars and some points before arrival ????????????

Race back home for the Peewees to redeem themselves from saturdays effort or lack of, saw us partially lift, at least on the scoreboard anyway, as we defeated an improved Norwest side, 4 to 3, but only, just. Lots of work and more training with players paying attention and listening to coaches, a must.

Next on Hockey Sunday, saw The Big Hitting Bantams, at home ( thankfully ) against The Canberra Phoenix , positions 2 verse 3 and the action was hard and fast from the face off with some great individual goals , but more pleasing were the team goals especially the brothers goal. Testosterone filled the arena, with hits a plenty, but  special mention to our hero, ( The Goalie of course )  with a Total  shut out..

Time to go home, for an hour or two, before we come back to Liverpool, for The Ice Dogs, providing the warm up preliminary game, for the Titans on a winning streak at 7pm.

The Ice Dogs put on a great show, with some huge, hits, knocking some of The Phoenix, nearly out of the arena, but The Dogs  winning streak, came to an end, so too did the fight on centre ice, costing us a valuable player in the process.

On to the main game ( at least the Titans thought so ) unfortuately a lot of the crowd didnt think so, and the stands werent quite as full, for the next hour. What the Dogs started, the Titans continued, with  another loss and winning streak finishing, not one of our Titans finest hours, Ice Kings victors 6 to 2.Round 10 over for me at least.
